Our group offers several opportunities to learn about computational biology within both bachelor's and master's programs.

Current Semester

• Seminar Systems und Computational Biology in Theorie und Praxis 16.00020
  
  Offered together with Prof. Dr. Lisa Fürtauer, Bio III, Systems Biology
  
  This module is for students who want to gain in-depth experience in systems biology and computational life sciences. The content of the module is designed to demonstrate the interdisciplinary and quantitative nature of biological research and to deepen previous experience and skills.

  Offered together with Prof. Dr. Maria Fyta, Biotechnology
  
  Series of guest lectures on sequence alignments, genetic variations and phylogenetics in bioinformatics.

• Research Internship Computational modelling in systems biology. 16.00038
  
  This Research Internship is for students wanting to pursue the Computational Life Science / Systems Biology career pathway. The content taught in this module, as well as the skills developed, go beyond the level of a bachelor's module and highlights the interdisciplinarity of biological science.
